Short biography: Hrvoje Cajner was born on 07.03.1978. in Požega, Republic of Croatia. After high school, he enrolled in the undergraduate study program of Aerospace engineering (1996/1997) at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture. In the year 2005 he was employed as a research novice at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture. In the year 2010 he completed his postgraduate doctoral study of Industrial Engineering and Management. After completing the doctoral study, he earned his Ph.D. defending the thesis in the field of Design and analysis of experiments, entitled “Multi-criteria adaptive design of experimental plans”. Form the year 2015 till now he works as an assistant professor at the Chair for Production Control.
