Short description:

Company HAIX obuća d.o.o. produces professional functional footwear. They started implementing Lean management as part of its capacity building activities. Miro Hegedić, PhD, and the Production Management Laboratory have been hired to provide consultancy services in the area, as part of an international group of external consultants. The project included, among other things, the application of Lean tools such as: SMED, 5S, Visual Management, VSM, One piece flow. In addition, activities aimed at enhancing the ergonomics of jobs and increasing productivity through a reduction in rework were carried out, which included statistical analysis of data.
