Short biography:
Tihomir Opetuk is born on September 7th, 1984 in Zagreb. He finished elementary school in Vukovina and High Aviation technical school Rudofl Perešin in Velika Gorica. He enrolled Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in 2003. He ends Undergraduate university programme in Industrial Engineering and Management module in 2007 with bachelor thesis on the topic: Implementation of Group Technology in the Process Planning. He ends Graduate university programme in the Industrial Engineering and Management module in 2008 with diploma thesis on the topic: Model Development for the Time estimation in Machining of Rotational Parts. In 2008 he was awarded with Faculty Medal for Academic Achievement.
From August 2008 he worked in the company Končar Distribution and Special Transformers Inc. as a process engineer. Two and a half years he was an assistant of director for the construction of high voltage laboratory, assembly plant, warehouse and offices space. From February 2012 he works at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture in Zagreb, as an assistant at the Chair of Production Design, Department of Industrial Engineering. He ends Postgraduate doctorate studies in Industrial Engineering and Management module in 2016 with doctoral thesis on the topic: Model of Green Supply Chain Management Implementation.
Fields of interest: logistics, simulations of production and logistics processes, process and operation planning, work study and ergonomics.
